Engineering 2K successfully completed a modern warehouse in the Castel San Giovanni logistics hub, designed to optimise the operational efficiency of a large distribution centre.

The building covers a total surface area of 28,070 m sq., of which 629 m sq. for offices. Designed with a focus on functionality and safety, the warehouse has 6 customised loading bays to facilitate logistical operations, while the air-conditioned offices ensure a comfortable working environment all year round. For maximum protection the building is equipped with an NFPA-regulation fire-prevention sprinkler system, LED lighting, BMS, heat-pump air conditioning, a circa 300-Kwp photovoltaic system and charging points for electric vehicles.

Planning was carried out with BIM technology, and the building has been constructed with a focus on sustainability principles, obtaining BREEAM certification at the EXCELLENT level.
