Engineering 2K has constructed a building for Leroy Merlin within the Castel San Giovanni logistics hub that represents the perfect balance between functionality and operational speed. The goal was clear: to create a structure capable of handling high volumes of goods in a smooth and continuous manner, while maintaining high standards of safety and precision.

The warehouse covers over 45,000 m2 of storage space, with 400 m2 of office space designed to ensure direct contact with warehouse operations. The 50 electro-hydraulic platforms set the pace of daily operations, allowing continuous loading and unloading. Every design choice, from the internal layout to the organisation of access points, is oriented towards optimising times and routes. Particular attention has been paid to safety: the entire complex is protected by an NFPA-compliant sprinkler system, installed to ensure the utmost protection.

The works, which began in March 2017 and were completed in October of the same year, are demonstration of Engineering 2K’s ability to manage complex construction operations within a short time frame, guaranteeing the client completely reliable, modern and ready-to-use results.
