Engineering 2K built an SDA hub in Bologna capable of managing significant volumes with maximum efficiency, in line with the needs of a leading operator in the distribution and express services sector.

The operational heart of the complex is a 21,700 sq. m warehouse, alongside 1,400 sq. m of office space designed to ensure constant coordination between management and operational departments. One of the strengths of the building is the goods handling system: 156 electro-hydraulic platforms, with the possibility to add a further 10, which ensure uninterrupted incoming and outgoing flows, optimising loading and unloading times at any time of the day.

The project, started in Febbraio 2018 and delivered in November of the same year, is a prime example of efficiency given its approach and completion speed, allowing the client to have a fully operational structure in less than a year.
