Building C, a new distribution centre has been added to the Colleferro (RM) logistics hub, an already well established facility in the area and one of Engineering 2K’s main achievements.

With a total surface area of 49,706 sq. m, the warehouse includes around 1,110 sq. m for offices, designed to efficiently support coordination and management activities. The facility has a reinforced concrete frame structure, vertical concrete sandwich panels and Bacacier cladding, solutions selected to ensure robustness and durability.

The building has 50 loading bays, which ensure smooth handling of incoming and outgoing goods flows. One of the distinctive elements of the facility is the area equipped with a pick-tower: a space of around 9,900 sq. m with the height increased to 17 metres. In line with Engineering 2K’s sustainable vision, the building is equipped with a 3.4 MW photovoltaic system, and was awarded BREEAM Excellent certification, as proof of the attention paid to environmental quality, energy efficiency and workers’ well-being.
